The 270 cm long, orange-coloured traverse by STOW is a load-bearing structural element of the storage racks. The orange-coloured beam has a cross-section of 10×5 cm. Each beam of the crossbar is terminated with catches for wedge fixing in the frame column perforations. The high rigidity of the beam-to-column connection ensures the longitudinal stability of the racks. The maximum load per pair of beams is 1664 kg. As the load on a pair of crossbars increases, the rigidity of the crossbar-to-post connection increases.
